Greg Sadler is a skilled, versatile drummer who can be found playing Rock, Pop/Top 40’s, Country, Funk/Soul, and Jazz. At 26 years old, Sadler has already shared the stage/studio with an impressive list of artists.
While playing for the six-time GRAMMY-nominated One O’ Clock Lab Band, Greg performed with guest artists Wayne Bergeron, Terrance Blanchard, John Clayton, Larry Goldings, Dave Kikoski, Ravi Coltrane, and Marvin Stamm among others. Greg currently plays in GRAMMY-nominated trumpeter Ron King's Quartet, and is an alumni of the Late Night Jazz Orchestra, the Ron King Big Band, and the Mike Barone Big Band.
Greg travels intermittently with Liquid Blue (Named "America's Best Dance Band" at the National Music Awards) and recently finished touring in promotion of the feature film, The Identical (Rock, R&B, and Blues). He has played arena shows with Hip Hop Artist Tedashii and also plays in smaller venues (Hotel Cafe, Vitellos, House of Blues, etc) all over Los Angeles with various Singer-Songwriter acts.
Equally at home in the studio, Greg has played on many albums, EP’s, and demos for various artists, and has also recorded for TV and several short films.
Greg holds a degree in Jazz Studies from the renowned University of North Texas, and while in school, he won multiple awards including two Student Downbeat Awards from Downbeat Magazine, and the “Top Undergraduate in Percussion” award from the UNT Honors College.
Greg has studied with some of the best drummers in the world, including Ed Soph, Gregg Bissonette, Bernie Dresel, and Willie Ornelas. He uses the concepts and techniques he learned from these master drummers when teaching his own students.
